  Poet Renee Christy returns to Freak Nation, with five poems from the Las Vegas “Broken Arrow” show. Billed as “a Las Vegas tradition”, the Broken Arrow show fuses Christy’s fresh and unusual love poetry with the music of local blues artists to offset the usual Valentine’s Day sappiness. In this selection, Christy looks at the sweetness and pain of crushes, dancing as a new mating ritual, and a Zen princess.
